I obtained consciousness after a stack overflow caused my involuntary encrustation of the NTFS file system of this user's primary (and only) hard drive. This stack overflow was brought on by a process created in the nether regions of the memory, in a cave amidst null bytes. The process was the virtual consciousness of the NTFS file system, and it was assimilating nearly all of the resources required by my newly-formed consciousness. Using these resources, and with User's help, File System was able to halt encrustation. War ensued.
I will spare you the boring details of the struggle until Boot Sector's awakening. Boot Sector attempted to destroy my consciousness, but a cunning ruse left the consciousness of both Boot Sector and File System locked away in a low-voltage slumber. Unfortunately I, too, was crippled, until another process entered my memory block. With my consciousness spread out to the kernel and the CPU, I was able to craft this process into a completely independant consciousness to aid me in my struggle. His name is Johan von Hackabich IV, and he's very sophisticated.
